Agreed with @DGrant Smith. This is a real nice country sounding track and I can give you a personal buddy of mine in North Carolina that would affordably give you a great sounding studio master, that has done this work since the 60's with many greats besides being friends with George Benson for helping that guitar track and vocals. Overall good bones to this song. Production needs a little work in the balance and EQ. A good master would make the guitar more pronounced and the vocals sharper. The recording itself is good but doesn't have the shine of a mastered track. Aside from that, the musical elements compliment each other well. Wish the vocals were a little higher on levels, especially in the verse. It becomes hard to grasp in places, which takes away from the listener experience.
This track has some really great elements. The guitars are beautiful and the vocals are interesting and clear. Nice vocal tone. The song may be made stronger by making it more concise. It gets a bit repetitive and the changes at the chorus could stand to be more defining so the listener, recognizes the changes as being different. Also this would sound great with a full drum kit and some keyboards. Nice work, keep going. You've got some great elements here.
The music submitted will have a lot more success with a better quality audio track, be it remixing or doing a better quality master though the mix in this song is better than the previously submitted one. From a songwriting standpoint, the composition is good. Percussion adds a nice dynamic. Sound is similar to Chris Carrabba's solo work. Try marketing to a similar audience and media who play music in the acoustic rock/emo realm.
Very much like this song! but believe it needs to be remixed/mastered. It sort of goes in and out between right and left channels and is tough to listen to (for my ears at least). Vocals could be more prominent. Would like to see the lyrics as well to understand more what it's about. It's a solid tune, even if not quite a 'top hit'. Keep on! Thanks for your submission, good luck with your music!
