Hey Mathes - thanks for the submission. Solid one for sure. My thought here is that on one hand - this song could be as good as any song on say any "best of" new release playlist - but how could you separate yourself further - in sonic identity, visual identity, etc. The competition every week is literally 250,000 songs - so how else can you stand out in a crowded environment? This is my dilemma I face as a label every day, as well. So take away for me is 1) this is really hella good!! 2) for me to have my ears perk up a little more - what's a more extreme version of your direction that makes you feel a little (or a lot) nervous - that's where I would head! Also as a little bonus - I have whole chapters of this and more marketing ideas / tips - just released a #1 Best New Release on Amazon - but since you reached out on Fluence - feel free to pick up a free download here if you like : ) Hope it's helpful. https://www.benjamingroff.com/get-the-book
Hey Mathes - nice song here and thanks for the submission. Good vibes on the song. And that piano riff / sample in the background is also really nice. Great vocals too. For me - (and this is just a general overall comment), I'm usually looking for a bit more tempo driven songs. Mid tempos and good vibes can also work for sure - but more tempo songs generally drive more synchronizations. Synchs are not the end all and be all but they do help put the wind to your back when you're getting some traction and exposure and also recouping and earning royalties. Beyond that as an actual song and production and vocals - i think it's on point! Now part of the game is also figuring out how to differentiate yourself among the 40,000 new music releases per day. But I think you're on the right path!
