Bio
Tucker Riggleman is a veteran of the Appalachian DIY music scene. A founding member of influential garage rock
band The Demon Beat, alt-country outfit Prison Book Club, and fuzz rockers Bishops -- not to mention the years
running his own indie label, Big Bullet Records -- Riggleman has been around the block. During his years making
records and racking up miles on the road with the aforementioned bands, Riggleman maintained a steady, though
less prolific solo career. The Cheap Dates sees this side of the West Virginia songwriter come front and center,
backed by a blistering twang rock sound that seamlessly blends his previous output with his eclectic influences.

Manic by Tucker Riggleman & The Cheap Dates

Like the lone guitar opening. The opening flow seems fairly standard but not unlikeable. Love the voice. Gets better as it goes. Really like the lyrics as well. I feel like there's something missing in the section between the chorus repetitions. That guitar is just a little too muted to me. Needs a touch more forward sound. Different pedal maybe? Overall, really liked the song a lot.
