- Writer/Photographer, Now This Sound Is Brave
Writer and Photographer for Now This Sound is Brave since 2010. I like big drums and dirty bass lines. I do not like music that is dull. Be aware that if you ask me for my honest opinions, there’s a chance I will tell you I think your tunes are terrible and your video is tasteless and/or boring.

Well, it's definitely creepy and weird. (I mean that in the best possible way.) Also kind of melancholy. The mummys (all of them, human and play-doh) have sad eyes. The music itself is also beautifully melancholy. I'm sure there is a filmmaker out there somewhere who would love to have this piece for their score.
I like this song. solid beat, solid hook. Can definitely envision the "Wild West"/concrete jungle that inspired it. Or at least *a* concrete jungle that might have inspired it, anyway. It's creepy and menacing and yet has verve.
This is without question the most unusual cover of this song I have ever heard. I respect it's jagged ingenuity and off-kilter swagger but am not sure if I actually liked it or not. I'm baffled, but I think it counts as a success.
Definitely like this one a lot; starts out light and feathery and then the darker tones kick in, and they add heft and depth but are not too overpowering - some shimmer remains. I feel like it should be on the soundtrack to a high tech heist movie - very "driving the getaway car down a dim street with the computer portentously lit in the backseat" vibe. A++ well done would like to hear the rest.
I like it - kind of wish it were longer, I think? I want to hear where you're going with those patterns. Very soothing, though. Didn't really hear the Tears for Fears elements; has to be heavier and more solid if that's what you're after. (Best I can do here is: "needs more thump" which, uh, may or may not make sense. But Tears For Fears was something you could feel, something that pushed at you.) Also the album art is super cute; love the green-eyed devil kitty!
