I love it! Very energetic and different sounding! Has anyone ever told you you have a Paul McCartney vibe to you? I love the take back to the old stage days. The song itself is a great marketable song, recording-wise i'd tune up the sound volume a touch more myself to give it an extra punch but other than that, terrific job guys!
Another fantastic one, love the soul to his voice. I can't wait to introduce you to my partner label. I think they are going to love you a lot. Your piano playing always mesmerizes me. I like the energy of this one a lot. Once again another very well composed, produced song with so much depth to it. We need more artists like you out there. This one would be fantastic for TV, have you tried some of the licensing companies out there? I really feel strongly that a lot of your songs would do well. I have several friends in mind that handle things like this I can refer you to.
I LOVE the piano in this as well as the vocals. Fantastic song. I agree in the channeling here. For sure many avenues that can be taken with this song. Please do utilize my email I sent on twitter and lets connect with my resources and see what we can come up with for you guys. I have a few friends in the business that are going to LOVE you.
Oh my, I love the thunder like rumble of the drums in this one, and once again just a fantastic composition. Where do you get these amazing voices and where are you guys recording at and with who? I am completely blown away. The kind of music you are sending over is so much of what is missing a LOT of times these days in musical compositions. It keeps you there because there is so much depth to it. I loved this one. Her voice has this yearning like quality to it with soul, and of course your playing is masterful as always. Thank you for what you do!
I don't think that you could ever send me anything that I would not love. This one was mesmerizing, I loved the flow of the piano and such a very deep and enchanting song. I hope you are going for some great licensing for these amazing compositions, because a LOT of them I know would get some good attention. Fantastic work!
David, I was excited to see a composition come in from you and it most certainly did not let me down. I absolutely loved the soaring string accompaniment towards the third quarter or so, some of my favorite of instruments, outside of the piano of course, and your playing as always was tremendous. The young lady's depth of her voice in the song left me breathless, and she's very unique as is the song. A fantastic score of music, but I didn't expect you to let me down at all. Thank you for your amazing talents, as well as the other artists you obviously have the blessings of surrounding yourself with.
HI Jason, I like it. It's got something there to me and it's different which is something very good in our musical landscape these days. The only thing that possibly threw me off, and this is a little constructive criticism, is the tambourine, and because I don't know the background of the song it very well may be, but it really gave the song a more Christmas song feel and took away what it could be. The song has a fantastic ring of something that could transpose over to the ability to license to TV, but the tambourine was almost too much and took away from the song a lot as well as your voice. Other than that, I enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for sharing it with me.
You are a fantastic songwriter as I said in your last submission. Your breathing needs some work and you need better production for sure. Work on your hooks as well, try not to leave us flatlining through the songs. Good job.
I love the dark undertones! Very good job. I'd work on the lyrics some, the chorus is a bit too general, but I love everything else. I like "Sister Kiss me while your eyes are closed", maybe make that the center point of your chorus as opposed to "Love...."
Hello you Crazy Dayzies! First things first, if you don't work on having this song placed I will be deeply disappointed in you. It's got a hook that can likely garner some attention in several areas. I'm thinking "Nashville", not the town, the show. Very good song. You are in a tough genre publicity-wise. It's a genre not just based on songs alone but also glitz and glam, so make sure your image and stage performance is making the same marks that your songwriting and singing are!
Beautiful, beautiful song. I love the infusion of the cello towards the end (an instrument that does not get enough love). As a label owner, if one of my artists came to me with this song, I would instantly send them over to a producer we love and use Larry Gann. He would make this song grow very big. You are correct in your statement " Those in love will get it". I get it! Thanks you guys!
David, you stopped me in my tracks, gave me cold chills and put tears into my eyes. It made me stop and think about so much that has happened in the world. A beautiful song that should be viral. Wow, I'm so stunned I don't even know what to say. You have captured the feelings of many in an amazing song. Your voice as well is incredible. Wow, just wow.
It's a nice song. I enjoyed it a lot. The only thing that bugged me is you have a voice that is a little weaker than Darius Rucker,, which is a compliment by the way, but I get lost somewhere in the song because it's missing something...a hook maybe, an emphasis on the chorus more. It just feels like the same voice completely through. That said, I really like the song a lot. Great job.
You have a fantastic voice and I loved the song a lot. My label doesn't work in your genre so I couldn't tell you if you have a hit or not, but you can hear the ease of notes in your voice. What I would love to do myself is take you into the studio with one of the producers we use and see what they could get out of you. Good job. I am sure you will have no problems getting good reviews on here. I'd only have to say, depending on what genre you are aiming at, if it's radio friendly for today, then hit a producer that specializes more in that area. I'd honestly love to hear you seeing a rock or even country song.
Dang woman you have some pipes! That's what I was talking about there! Your vocal range is fantastic and so smooth! This song reminds me of smoky venues with dancers on the floor embraced in passionate dance. When you sing "You let me down", you do it with so much passion that I feel like I did let you down and need to fix it. Great job!
First off, THANK YOU, for not singing about having a beer on your truck bed with a girl in daisy dukes. It gets old. Ahhh, being on the road, I could have used this song while on tour last year broken down on a mountain pass on New Years day. It's nice to hear New York City in a country song instead of Nashville, and I love the steel guitar. I could see Zac Brown buying this song from you. Great voice and you know how to formulate a song well. Nothing like an artist that understands creative writing. Good job!
Shaun, I like it. It's a good song, however, it wouldn't be one that as a label I'd go "That's a hit", but it's a good, fun song. I would be interested in hearing some more songs so I can get a better feel for your music. Kimberly James President CBM Records
Hi Xavier, and thank you for submitting your song to me. First off, very good song and playing ability. It has great energy. I could see a number of artists interested in this song. Second, while you have a decent voice, I would pay a little attention to your Dynamics, it's leaning a little to the flat side when you switch between voices. All in all a great song.
T-roy, thanks for submitting to me. This song makes me feel like Im at the Spotted Cat in NOLA again. I like it, but when you get to your chorus, work on your breathing techniques. Maybe it www as done on purpose, not sure. Very energetic song.
Ahhh man, THAT is what music is about. I have said a million times that I miss artists going into the studio and jamming and creating magic. Where in the world did you pull all of that soul out of a baby face. I couldn't stop watching and want to see a live show now. You guys are on the right track. Thank you for the music!
