This is so good. It's well-paced and it has the kind of recall that will have me singing for days. What gets me the most is the beginning of the song, where in this very classy way, it starts of slow and building. Then it just bursts into a trance of synths and beats that blend so well together that I see a large crowd jumping to it. This song is made for a live show to bring the house down. I won't be surprised it this gets bigger. Will definitely be sharing!
Not exactly as strong as last year's "Taking You Out" but the charm and the consistency is there. The Landed, at the right place and time, could emerge as one of this genre's strongest players. They capitalize punk-rock with such class and honesty in their words that it's almost plagued with nostalgia from the days when rock was more about the music than they are about the musicians. A lot has changed with the rock scene over the last couple of years but The Landed has found a comfortable place to land and find their footing.
This looks promising. I would love to hear the entire thing. So interested and part of me is excited to what this material actually sounds like. I'm interested in writing about it. The song's pace and overall texture reminds me so much of CATHEDRALS and a little bit Phantogram here and there. Amazing!
Reminds me of a time when rock was this simple; doesn't pretend to be anything else but music that seeks to be heard. I love this one 'cause it reminds me of the good ol' days of rock. Charming but incredibly edgy in all the right places. I heard the likes of Aerosmith and The Beatles at some point there and I think it's wonderful. It got me real intrigued how the band would perform live. It would be nice and interesting how this kind of energy level plays out on stage. Keep up the solid work.
Catchy and engaging, The Landed has done a great job coming up with a track that perfectly speaks to the listeners. There's a balance among all the elements of the song--from the songwriting up to the most subtle beats. It's also so easy to sing along to as if it's made to be performed live. Will definitely be spreading the word about this one!
This one is more like an out-of-body experience. Great job, especially on that amazing stretch from 1:41 to 2:21. There's a certain amount of carefulness in this track as if everything was well-thought of. The start wasn't strong but everything after that was just a different experience in itself. Would definitely be sharing!
